To ensure ClickGuard accurately tracks paid traffic from Google Ads, it is necessary to configure a tracking template at the account level within Google Ads.
This setup allows ClickGuard to track all traffic generated by your ads.
To enable automatic click tracking, from your ClickGuard dashboard navigate to Settings → Connections → Ad accounts tab ad and click the Configure button for your PPC ad account.

Enable the Use ClickGuard's tracking template, and click Save. With this option enabled, ClickGuard will automatically set a tracking template and final URL Suffix on your Google Ads account to enable tracking of paid traffic.
Are there alternatives?
Yes, if you're already using a tracking template (e.g., HubSpot), you can configure click tracking with URL suffix only; that way, the system will track clicks from the landing page as they happen. First, you would have to disabled Use ClickGuard's tracking template and then copy Final URL suffix and manually place it on the account level within your Google Ads.

Can I configure tracking manually in Google Ads?
You can manually set the tracking template and final URL suffix at the account level within your Google Ads account, by disabling Use ClickGuard's tracking template option and then just copy and paste both tracking template and final URL suffix on the account level tracking.
Note: Tracking template script is unique and different for each account
